Author’s note: I originally began this for the cycle prompt and couldn’t get time to finish it. When the rules prompt came out, I figured it was time. It’s set a few weeks after “Lifeline” in season 4. Also, many thanks to sharpes hussey for being beta. I fiddled with it after she did her thing, so any remaining mistakes are mine.

Team Dynamics
Ronon/Teyla/Rodney/John -- R -- 4,600 words
Ronon has a request, Teyla has a rule, John has issues, and Rodney has his doubts.

I asked [livejournal.com profile] cesperanza to take a look at some unfinished stories and see if she could help me finish them up, and she poked at this one and said, "Those sweethearts who are doing [livejournal.com profile] sga_saturday -- tell 'em I sent ya!"

This had been unfinished for some time, and obviously canon moved on without me. Also I'm very pleased to have been jossed by the repeal of DADT; parts of this would have been written quite differently today, though I maintain that John would still have had issues.

cross-posted to AO3 here

PAIRING: John/Rodney
CHARACTERS:  John Sheppard, Rodney McKay, Laura Cadman
RATING: PG
WORDS: 777 (Hello, Vegas? Put everything on red!  Damnit, I'll send you a check.)
