Read this story and enjoyed it! Rodney has truly "grown up" since we first met him. Loved how he was yelling at the IOA person. Loved how he got to prove that not only are the scientists a vital part of the missions, but also trained to look after themselves and their injured comrades. ( Though I personally love the earlier, more scaredy and whiny Rodney, it's logical that he's changed and learned. Like Shep said, not soldiers but survivors. )

Loved the little banner too, with the rest of his team going through the gate with a big Rodney-shaped hole in their team lineup, and in the foreground Rodney looking like he's yelling at somebody.

aw, man, I loved Rodney fighting to be back on the team, and being surprised about how much he wanted it. and I really enjoyed Teyla's interactions with Chu, and Rodney schooling Coolidge on first aid. Scientists rool! \o/ Terrific whump, too. <3

What a fantastic adventure story hon. Lots of whump...of course I love you for that....and I really love how you show us the great character Rodney has developed into. One that cares for his team and is brave and really prepared to be out in the field, taking risks with the others.
Of course, you dealt with Coolidge just soooo well. You really kicked his ass!!! And he soooo deserved it.
Rodrigues, Brenner, Isaacs....wonderful that they appeared in this.
And the great loyalty from the expedition to Sheppard, the fact that he would give up his life for any and all of them...including Coolidge...Woolsey and his development into an Atlantis man, Sheppard showing all his great sides a soldier, a hero, a leader...I so like him being vindicated as the good guy after the people in his past that criticised him. Absolutely all of this and more made this into a fantastic and wonderful story hon.
Excellent...I loved it. Thank you for it.

WOW! This is what happens when you back a brilliant scientist into a corner... and take away his team! This was such a great story; I love team stories and this one was well-done.

Totally and utterly made of win. Loved Rodney getting them out of it, the numbskull IOA bods being taken off world, Wolsey as good guy and the Shep Whump. anice reminder of the point of the scientists on Atlantis.
