Author’s note: I originally began this for the cycle prompt and couldn’t get time to finish it. When the rules prompt came out, I figured it was time. It’s set a few weeks after “Lifeline” in season 4. Also, many thanks to sharpes hussey for being beta. I fiddled with it after she did her thing, so any remaining mistakes are mine.
