Notes: Written for the Stargate Anniversary fest, and for the SGA_Saturday prompt tower (yes, I'm very late for that). I saw that prompt, then, soon after, happened on this tumblr post by girlinyourphone:  "I think a wizard can be a princess sometimes. I mean a tower is a tower"

Notes: Written for Romancing SGA 2023. (McShep but a bit too dark for Romancing McShep). I like fics where symbols are lovingly painted onto our favourite characters, but I wanted to flip that around, to imagine a scenario where they're the wrong symbols, applied by the wrong people for the wrong reasons. Also for the current SGA_Saturday prompt "shadow", for the dark, shadowy script, and the shadow that a mission gone wrong casts on them both.

Notes:
In the Vegas episode, Season 5, McKay takes Sheppard to visit Todd who's imprisoned at Area 51 and slowly starving. I thought I'd take that part of the transcript and make it into a poem, since Todd's already halfway there. I was sort of using a villanelle structure, but this isn't a villanelle as sticking fairly closely to the episode script didn't allow for enough rhymes. The overall line structure is almost a villanelle's, but there are only suggestions of rhymes, and the partial rhyming alternates between Todd's and McKay's POVs.

This is for the current SGA_Saturday prompts Adjust and Rules - in that I tried to follow the rules for a villanelle, but had to adjust them. :) 
Or, there are rules about access to Todd for a reason, and Todd adjusts Sheppard's worldview.
