"Hey," Sheppard drawled, raising his hands in turn. "I thought you'd be glad of the company. But fair enough if you wanna be antisocial. Just hand over the princess and I'll be on my way."
"The what?" Rodney stared at him, baffled.
"The princess you've got imprisoned up here," Sheppard said, a touch impatiently. "Name of Meredith, heir to the kingdom of Hallona, blue eyes and blonde curls, all that jazz."
Notes: Written for the Stargate Anniversary fest, and for the SGA_Saturday prompt tower (yes, I'm very late for that). I saw that prompt, then, soon after, happened on this tumblr post by girlinyourphone:  "I think a wizard can be a princess sometimes. I mean a tower is a tower"

So this fic was supposed to be short and funny, ha! Several weeks later...
