Notes: Written for Romancing SGA 2023. (McShep but a bit too dark for Romancing McShep). I like fics where symbols are lovingly painted onto our favourite characters, but I wanted to flip that around, to imagine a scenario where they're the wrong symbols, applied by the wrong people for the wrong reasons. Also for the current SGA_Saturday prompt "shadow", for the dark, shadowy script, and the shadow that a mission gone wrong casts on them both.

But he also doesn't; doesn't want to have to keep his mouth shut about where he's been, and why he's not quite right, why coming home this time doesn't hold the joy and contentment that it has in the past. "Do you – would you want to..."

David nods, and smiles a little. "Yes. Let's. Somewhere quiet."

Notes: Set after/during The Return. A sequel to The Irresistible Blueberry Farm, and the quick summary of that story is: Lorne and Parrish get stuck for 6 weeks on a planet harvesting sacred almost-blueberries, to atone for Parrish's accidental desecration of a temple. For Romancing SGA.

Works featuring any SGA pairing (except happy McShep - post that in Romancing McShep), threesome or moresome, including aro relationships, genfic, whump, and relationships with OCs and crossover pairings with other fandoms.
Happiness not required!
This festival includes works with dark or unhappy relationships, and McShep relationships with unhappy endings. Also, no Valentine's day theme is needed - any trope or theme is fine.
No work's too small!
There's no size requirement - doodles and drabbles are great as well!
