Weeks #297-300: "colors" is open!

I tried to think of something a bit out of the box for this prompt, so I chose something that can be taken multiple ways (he said, in the most inappropriate way possible).  For the next four weeks, your prompt is "colors".  Now, you can take this just about any way you want.  If you want to write a story about Elizabeth waking up to the brilliant yellow sunlight spilling in from her window, then go for it.  Maybe one of the characters on Atlantis is color blind, and after ingesting a plant not unlike Earth's "magic mushrooms", they can see the color they've been blind to all their life (based on true facts! But oh the fun that could be had along the way!). Or maybe you want to be more literal, and talk about how colors are brighter when Rodney kisses John, or maybe David gives Evan a new set of paint colors as a gift. 

Whatever the case may be, you've got four weeks (until the afternoon of Sunday September 5th!) to get your fic on!

I got a little stuck in a WIP for a while so I didn't manage to come up with anything for the past couple of prompts, but even just thinking the word colour has me scribbling down plans. :)
