For Amnesty 201212, week #59 Well

Title: Well of Stars (Also on AO3)
Author [livejournal.com profile] selenic76
Genre/tags: Gen
Characters: Keller, Biro
Rating: PG (For the very brief mentions of death and guts...)
Word count: ~1100
Disclaimer: Don't own or profit from them.

Summary: When Jennifer was a child, she’d found an old dried up well a little way off from where they lived.

Author's notes: My mind usually tends to revolve around slash when writing, but sometimes my brain surprises me with something completely different. Hope you like what it came up with :) Started writing this for week #59, but didn't finish it on time! So posting now since it's Amnesty ^_^ Unbeta'd, all mistakes are mine. And since this is something new to me, I would love to hear what you thought of this, good or bad :)

Always lovely to see the mix of fannish content that comes through with amnesty week!

Burned up and not taking it any longer by [livejournal.com profile] black_raven135, G (Gen): Sheppard had had it with the entire thing...
Smoke Gets In Your Eyes by [livejournal.com profile] black_raven135, G (Gen): It became all too familiar...
Lipstick by [livejournal.com profile] scarlettandblue,NC-17 (John/Rodney): It's just an excuse for some smut, really.
Dragon Flight (Day & Night) by [livejournal.com profile] syble4, G (Gen): John never figured he'd fly one of these, but once he did, he never wanted to stop.
Some Kind of Cure by [livejournal.com profile] lilyfarfalla, light R, (past Jennifer/Rodney): “I hear she came to Atlantis to get her M.R.S.”

Don't forget to post your work to AO3 under the prompt of the week you were writing for: here.

Title: Some Kind of Cure
Author: [livejournal.com profile] lilyfarfalla
Rating: R, for language?
Pairings: past Jennifer/Rodney, speculation on Rodney/John
Warnings: None.
Words: 1,000-ish
Prompt: Gossip, though I think an earlier one first inspired this...
Summary: “I hear she came to Atlantis to get her M.R.S.”
Notes: AU-ish timeline, and probably in desperate need of a beta. Also, not really sure what the point of this one is, but back in the fall I was listening to a melancholy but pretty song (natch) and the idea for a story along these lines came to mind. In my head, I called this one “lemon chicken for Jennifer!”
