We're just about done with the end/gather prompts, and with it, the yearly prompts posts come to a close. Such lovely fills are the best way to finish out a prompting period!

Kinda combining two different themes here, for our last prompt-fest of the calendar year.  Yes, November's prompts will be the last before we go full open on amnesty for the last month.  So here we go!

The prompts this time are symbolic in a way.  The first prompt is end - and it can be interpreted however you wish.  Maybe it's the end of Atlantis's time as a military outpost because they're transitioning to be a full-fledged, self-sufficient colony and people are having to decide if they want to stay on or go.  Maybe it's someone's last night being single - the end of their single life before they get married.  Or maybe it's just someone, say John Sheppard, watching Rodney McKay bending over and getting distracted from Rodney's rear-end.  Or maybe it's an AU where Elizabeth, the efficiency expert, is brought in to close down an inefficient office, only to find herself intrigued by the handsome Steven Caldwell.

And then we come to the prompt "Gather", which can be a few things like Lorne gathering his team for movie-night, or Rodney dragging soemone along to his sister Jeannie's house for a family gathering.  Or maybe Parrish is off-world and comes across the most striking blue flowers and gathers a few to make Lorne some paint.

Whatever the case, and whatever the character and/or pairing, your challenge for the next few weeks is to use "end" and/or "gather" in a fic and post it here.
