YOU GUYS. Happy anniversary! and thank you, thank you to the many artists, poets, writers, commenters and lemurs that have contributed to this Little Comm That Could. <3 I'd go all squishy on you if John wasn't telling me to suck it up fer Pete's sake, this is embarrassin'.

You might've noticed we've returned to our original banner, created by the lovely [livejournal.com profile] crysothemis, which signifies Amnesty week is here! And did you know an easy-peasy way to list all our prompts was to go to our memories page? It's also a really convenient way to revel in our fannish accomplishments of the past year, which include:

237 Stories!
46 Artworks!
1 Poem!
115 SGA Recs!
and...1 CrackFicPicSpam!

I mean. Seriously. You guys. Holy crap.

Okay, so the one thing that nobody got from our (me and [livejournal.com profile] elderwitty very first fic was an inside joke that I shall now explain.

In "Doing Their Duty; or You Can't Spell Parrish Without Pariah", Parrish and Kiang find the "Noh’muanto" berries - the ones that cause everyone massive digestive issues (I'm sorry - Ronon screaming, "Butt Trumpet!" still gets me!!!!) came from the planet PX-L4X.

Since I was "in on" the punchline of the story, I got it immediately (it was [livejournal.com profile] elderwitty's add for that; I'd called the planet something else). But I'm not sure anyone else did. If you drop the first "P" and change the "4" to an "A", the berries came from planet "X-LAX". ::grin::

No, see - the P is how they start all their planets, but it looks like an E at a glance, just as the 4 looks like an A. You don't have to drop the P at all.

(Hey, if CBS can us a 3 as an E instead of the more obvious Σ for Numb3rs, then we can do this sort of wackiness.)

Yeah for the little comm that could! And does!
