You laugh, but I read a book ALL ABOUT this! Well, it was about toilets in general, but a lot of time was spent on the whole waiting in line thing and how it's oppressing women. Well, it was actually a more nuanced and interesting set of essays, but yeah, TOTALLY a phrase being used. Annnnnnnd, now I kind of want a story along those lines. Imagine how Rodney would react? Maybe Atlantis instituted some kind of open public restroom plan, in order to equalize pee waiting time in the city, esp. important for emergencies. I mean, Elizabeth noticed EARLY ON that there was only one set of facilities near the control room, and hell if she was going walk all the way back to her quarters every time she needed to relieve herself. And really, it only makes sense to follow in the Lantean footsteps in this case, as they do in so many others.

Rodney was secretly a little leery of sharing toilet space with the female of the species, but a couple of knocks on the head from the rest of his team (John, followed by Teyla, Ford, and later Ronon), and he finally just got used to it. Might have been the concussion though. Poor Rodney, so put upon.

That conversation actually gives me a really good idea but from the gate techs aspect. Hmmm...
