parity (PAR-i-tee) noun
1. Equality in amount, status, etc.
[Via French from Latin paritas, from par (equal). Earliest documented use: 1572.]
2. The condition of having given birth.
3. The number of children borne by a woman.
[From Latin parere (to give birth). Earliest documented use: 1877.]
--------------
I love this one and can't wait to see what you guys do with it.
ALSO, a reminder: SGA Saturday Fandom Appreciation will be continuing here for the month of January, so hope on over to that post to leave a comment, linking to a post on your journal with recs, or links to awesome communities, etc etc, AND read everyone else's. The key to this challenge is to comment when you've enjoyed some fanworks, remember how many comments you ended up giving, and then report back at the end of the month for prize(s).
Happy Saturday!

Date: 2012-01-08 06:40 am (UTC)Rodney was secretly a little leery of sharing toilet space with the female of the species, but a couple of knocks on the head from the rest of his team (John, followed by Teyla, Ford, and later Ronon), and he finally just got used to it. Might have been the concussion though. Poor Rodney, so put upon.
