Fic: SPARTA! Prompt: Spartan

Title: SPARTA!
Characters: John and Rodney
Word Count: drabble
Summary: Written for the sga_saturday prompt Spartan.
Notes: Someone had to do it. Leave it to me to throw myself on the sword of the obvious.


John leaped through the air, his red cape swirling around his bare torso. "SPARTA!" he bellowed as he brought his sword down again and again. The screams of the enemy were nearly drowned out by the clash of steel against steel.

Bringing his shield up, he bashed in the face of an opponent, then lopped off the head of another. John looked around to see if Rodney had noticed. He sure had. Rodney's eyes blazed through the opening of his helmet. "I hate you!" he yelled. "Your virtual reality scenarios suck ass!"

John laughed madly, making another impossible leap through the air.

Heeeeeeee. Also, great mental image of John leaping in slow motion with his red cape and bare, hairy, chest.

Thank you! I rewatched that fight scene on youtube and all the Spartans were bare-chested. I figured John would want the complete experience. *g*
