Although, I am concerned Rodney appears to have his boot on still, that seems rather un-Rodney like.

Thank you! I deliberately left Rodney's boot on because there could be stuff in the water. (Like fish, bugs, snakes, poisonous or prickly plants...) Granted, Teyla and Ronon would have never let them sit there if dangerous things are about... but it never hurts to be extra cautious! :)

Rodney shook John's hand off and hauled himself to his feet, hopping in an ungainly fashion as he tried to unlace his boot without putting his foot down, without resting his weight on what was presumably now an uncomfortably cold and squishy sock. John flexed his fingers - they were tingling a little - and couldn't help grinning at the expression on Rodney's face as he gingerly peeled off the offending footwear.

"Oh yes, laugh it up, Sheppard. You couldn't take two seconds to let me know I was - that my foot was - ?" Rodney huffed inarticulately, presumably annoyed that there wasn't a way to finish that sentence that didn't involve the fact he hadn't noticed his foor was in a stream, that didn't make him sound like an inattentive moron.

(Mostly John's grin, though - if he was honest - was for how long it had taken him to notice).

This is just the most adorable image,
and yes I love those detials...John's elf ears, Rodney's cute non-elf ears, John's boots, which are just nummy. And the way they are both looking down and holding hands, this is so toucingly sweet but not saccarine. (I will be the first to admit I'm not normally a huge fan of these kind of images. Don't get me wrong, I know they are very popular, but they're just not to my taste.) But this was really really good. Thank you
