Rodney's the one who stuffed the alien lemur in his tac vest! he's a sucker for big golden eyes!

And because he is willing to touch them, he discovers that they have this spot right behind their ears that they love to have scratched. When he scratches Tennyson (it's important to always name the alien lemur before you stuff it anywhere) in that spot, the animal purs and sits still.
