Hallo, my friends!

It's no lie that I'm pretty bad at coming up with prompts.  But this morning I've been singing 'Red Rain' by Peter Gabriel and thought, "Hey, could that be a prompt?"  Except no - Rain was a prompt for way back in Week #2.  EEP!  So I changed it slightly, and offer you "Red" and "Dawn" as alternatives.

Yes, 'Red Dawn' was a somewhat bad movie back in the 80s, and then again just a few years back.  Although I remember seeing the original in the theater when i was scared that the Soviets would use the movie as some kind of roadmap, and living in Alaska, we were closer than most of the people in America.  But you don't have to do a 'Red Dawn' movie.  You can go off and use the color red, like the redness of someone's eyes when they've been crying (someone saying a tearful goodbye as they transition back to Earth) - or maybe sneezing (like Lorne sneezing because Parrish has brought yet another plant clipping to their quarters).  Maybe someone could wake up, the early light of dawn streaking into the room (like Rodney waking up in John's bed, the colorful sunlight painting John's back in dancing light).  Or maybe you can combine them - like Chuck being out on the East Pier at dawn finding a red sky, and knowing that a storm is coming.

Whatever the case, you've got four weeks to work on 'Red' and/or 'Dawn'.

Go!
