SGA Saturday Update - Now On Sunday!

Okay, only because I put it off because of things. You know, things. Anyway...

We had some quite lovely fills for the last few weeks for the prompts "shower" and "hawk". They are:

[personal profile] brumeier  gave us Storm Front
[personal profile] goddess47  gave us Second Thoughts
[personal profile] kimber1961  gave us Mistaken Identity
[personal profile] melagan  gave us Taste-testing
[personal profile] wonkyelk  gave us In the Shadow of the Hawk and A Mature Consideration of Showers

A new prompt is coming up soon! And if you're writing something for this prompt, you've got until tonight to get it in.

Author: [personal profile] goddess47
Fandom: Stargate Atlantis
Pairing: John Sheppard/Rodney McKay
Rating:PG

Summary:

"You only take forever in the shower when something's wrong," John pointed out.

Notes:

For [community profile] sga_saturday prompt 380-384

For [community profile] sweetandshort May 2023 prompt - promise

For [profile] mcsheplest prompt #12 - forever

This is a follow-up to the DoMAYstic story "A Stash of..." (it's also short!) and this will make even more sense if you read that but it should stand (mostly) alone.

Title :  In the Shadow of the Hawk

pairing : mcshep

rating: Teen

summary: Rodney McKay hadn’t earned two PhDs, saved hundreds of worlds (and a minor galaxy) and suffered an array of illnesses and injuries in the line of duty, which would have made his, far less intrepid, twenty year old self pass out for a week at the mere thought; all to earn the title of Intergalactic IT Guy.

summary: John grinned at him and leaned in for a long, dirty kiss.

“I was kind of planning on sharing.”

He leaned in again but Rodney stopped him, raising a finger of resolute and absolute no.

Sitting here in front of the computer trying to come up with a prompt for the next five weeks (extra time because the first Saturday is ALL the way out on May 6th!) when a few seconds after an afternoon shower, a beautiful hawk flys past my window.

How's that for inspiration?

So for the next five weeks, you can fill prompts for either hawk or shower or both!  I know immediately where my mind goes - ::cough:: ::cough:: watching the showers like hawk until Rodney walks in with all that ass ::cough: - but hey, that's just me.  And you know that, left alone, my mind goes in weird places.  So where will hawks and showers take you?

Well, you've got until the first Saturday(ish) of May to tell me!
