Damn. Spanking is one of my kinks, but... damn.

This fic is palpable, intense and packs a powerful punch. Very well-done. It gave me loads to think about here.

This John (who's definitely AU for me) successfully creeped me out, and I place him firmly in the "He really doesn't understand how to wield his authority, does he?" file. If he wanted to really get through to Rodney, simply punching him in the face would've had the same effect, without the sexual undertones and the repercussions that would follow what he chose to do instead. I definitely see their future as anything but easy from this point on.

I find 14bitsy's assessment pretty succinct: That's a pretty abusive family you have there, John. Yeah, something tells me Teyla and Ford wouldn't really be on board with this behavior. I'm thinking it's going to be John earning Rodney's trust back after this.
