This seriously just made my day. I mean, this is the kind of story worth waking up for. I loved Dino, and the way he and John related, that kind of father/son relationship that John never had, the way Dino took care of him in the beginning. And Rodney! "DoubleDoc"--hilarious! The way they first met but then how they *really* met, what a perfect piece of backstory for them.

This AU is so magical, and there isn't even any Ancient tech! (Unless you count the DeLorean. :-)
