Date: 2011-08-01 03:17 am (UTC)Second, re: the warning, it is a huge kindness to warn explicitly for triggers, or offer the option at least, and self-harm is definitely a trigger. But if you're afraid of spoiling the story for people who don't have these kinds of triggers, maybe you could do the obfuscating kind:
Adult themes, some disturbing and harmful areas for some, warning: [self-harm].
(If you don't know how to do those I can send in email.)
It's what I would do for this story, personally.
