Thank you wonderful participants! 1st place in our "use all the prompts!" contest goes to [livejournal.com profile] squidgiepdx for his entry: Everything and Nothing (Pre-slash, John & Rodney, PG-13) : John and Rodney find themselves offworld on a mission. Late one night, they sit by the fire and talk about everything and nothing.

Second place to [livejournal.com profile] ldyanne for Turning Up the Heat (Gen, G) : I always wondered in Season 3's "Critical Mass" how Radek came to allow himself to be 'made up' by the children of M7G-677. This is my take on how it might have happened.

oh, we're not thinking the famous vampire, although perfectly understandable considering the prompt:

Spike:
n.
1. a sharp-pointed piece of metal set with the point outward, as on a weapon.
2. an abrupt increase or rise: a chart showing a spike of unusual activity in the stock market; a sudden spike of electrical current.
3. a rectangular or naillike metal projection on the heel and sole of a shoe for improving traction, as of a baseball player or a runner.
4. the points of John Sheppard's hair.

but also it's a verb: you can do it to a baseball player sliding into second base, a vampire, a wall, a drink.

have fun, guys.
