esteefee: A golden haired, green-eyed Little Fuzzy from the book by H. Beam Piper (conversion)

Well, this week it might be a good idea to discuss our poll results during circle, since we had some interesting suggestions.

First of all, [livejournal.com profile] lilyfarfalla and I both agree it would be fun to have an occasional picture or quote or drawing prompt, assuming we can come up with good ones. So we'll give that a shot.

The poll results

Here are the other comments that came up:

[livejournal.com profile] x_varda_x -- I like the idea of themed weeks instead of word prompts, much like sga flashfic :)
[livejournal.com profile] tielan -- If we could run the longer prompts concurrent with the weekly challenges, that might keep the comm moving while still allowing people more time to write.
[livejournal.com profile] altyronsmaker -- How about, along w/ the 1 wk prompts, we do one long prompt/mo? give it on the 1st Sat and close 4 wks l8r?
[livejournal.com profile] rubygirl29 -- I love the one word prompts. I don't feel as if I have to write an epic!
[livejournal.com profile] hoktauri -- I like the idea for longer prompts sometimes, but I think the focus should remain on the one-week format, with an amnesty week every other month or something, as Real Life does show up to occasionally keep us from
[livejournal.com profile] trystings -- Not really, I adore it as it is!
[livejournal.com profile] stella_pegasi -- Love the comm as it is, but open to whatever the group chooses.
[livejournal.com profile] ceitie -- I like having a new prompt every week since it helps keep my interest, but occasionally having a prompt that last two or three weeks might be good for people who want to write longer stories or need more time to finish a story.
