.....spoilers......

hot and very intense! I liked Rodney's sense of ownership. the beginning felt very like an episode, actually, and I wasn't prepared for what was behind the door...

Well, first of all: I think the lovely thing (hopefully) about the prompts is we try to choose words that allow a range of stories to flourish, and I love that you took yours in a different direction. It would be so hugely *boring* if we all wrote with the same tone for each prompt.

Second, re: the warning, it is a huge kindness to warn explicitly for triggers, or offer the option at least, and self-harm is definitely a trigger. But if you're afraid of spoiling the story for people who don't have these kinds of triggers, maybe you could do the obfuscating kind:

Adult themes, some disturbing and harmful areas for some, warning: [self-harm].

(If you don't know how to do those I can send in email.)

It's what I would do for this story, personally.

Hope that helps?

eta: well, it doesn't appear to let me do <span> type stuff in comments. but you know those blocks of gray text that you highlight? that's what I'm going for over the [self-harm]. There's one at the top here for example.
