hot and very intense! I liked Rodney's sense of ownership. the beginning felt very like an episode, actually, and I wasn't prepared for what was behind the door...

All the other stories were just so beautiful and uplifting and really really inspired. I don't think any of the other prompts have inspired such an unfailingly lyrical crop of stories.
I also debated long and hard about what to put in the warning. I know personally I really hate to have a warning that completely spoils where the story is going, and I tried to make it quite grave without giving anything away, and I chose that quote for the summary because I hoped that might be a clue to the content, but you said you weren't prepared. And that can be a good thing, but it can also be bad, do you think I need to add something more to the warning?

Second, re: the warning, it is a huge kindness to warn explicitly for triggers, or offer the option at least, and self-harm is definitely a trigger. But if you're afraid of spoiling the story for people who don't have these kinds of triggers, maybe you could do the obfuscating kind:
Adult themes, some disturbing and harmful areas for some, warning: [self-harm].
(If you don't know how to do those I can send in email.)
It's what I would do for this story, personally.
Hope that helps?
eta: well, it doesn't appear to let me do <span> type stuff in comments. but you know those blocks of gray text that you highlight? that's what I'm going for over the [self-harm]. There's one at the top here for example.

I don't know why I feel so bad over the way my story went, it is strange, I try not to read any one else's stories first if I am writing one of my own, and I was just kind of shocked at the difference. Plus maybe the truma of trying to post it might have something to do with it.. When ever these things happen I always assume at first that it is my fault, that I'm doing something wrong with my post, or that my computer is going into melt dowm. I de-fragged it and everything!!
