There's that one scene in Irresistable where Weir is fawning over Lucius, and Torri just cannot hide the disgust on her face... I think that would be the worst part of being a TV series actor, because unlike a film or play where you have your whole character in one script, you're constantly at the whim of someone who might just think date rape drugs were hilarious! And TPTB made it clear that people who disagreed with their ~vision~ could take a hike: bye, Torri, lovely working with you. Which is why I think in Season 4 none of the actors felt they could really protest the Ronon-Teal'c fight, or the stupid Ronon-McKay fight over Keller, or the bodyswap stones story, or Ronon and Teyla not being in Vegas at all, despite all kinds of cameos from people I don't care about. I think that's part of why Momoa wanted Ronon to actually die in the last episode, in protest of what they did to his character.
(I was just reading this interview with David Hewlett and he had some interesting things to say about Momoa and type-casting, so that's on my breain!)
