Ylla was intended to be a metaphor of sorts to reflect Rodney's sexuality, which is one reason why he has a "sense" that something's not quite right but enjoys himself all the same and sees nothing really unusual about a woman with a cock - of course, the drugged wine had a lot more to do with that.
