SGA Saturday

I will admit that the first thing that went into my head when I thought "late" was John and Rodney having dinner and Rodney casually mentioning Jennifer being late. And John has an existential crisis because A) what he and Rodney had was casual, but maybe he should have defined it and B) he knew they weren't exclusive, or at least they never talked about it but he didn't know Rodney and Jennifer were seeing each other again and C) now that Jennifer's pregnant he's going to lose Rodney and they'll probably leave Atlantis and go back to Earth, and oh god, did he miss his chance? And then Rodney's all, "What's wrong with your face, like you just ate a lemon? And why are you all pink? I didn't ask her to join us for dinner - this is our private time together, John. I just said she could have access to my secure storage because she and that new grunt from the last Daedalus run are dating and I have an old bookcase I don't need anymore, and...okay, I love you, too, John, why are you climbing in my lap? Not that I'm complaining."

And then Jennifer walks in on them making out, and Rodney only stops long enough to fish a key out of his pocket, throw it at her, then yells at her to get out, "Good god, John we need quarters that not just anyone can walk into!"
